2012 Holiday Craft Fairs

No one will ever fault you for gift giving. And if your budget allows you to buy every friend, cousin, and colleague the “Double Car Crush” package from Drive a Tank (including 1 machine gun test fire), then by all means, tank them all. (Tank me, too, if you please.)

On the other hand, if money’s not that ample in your neck of the woods and you’re not prepared to fake your own death in a tragic hovercraft accident in order to collect the insurance money and buy everyone you know their own hovercraft (which would have to come “from Santa,” because, you know, you’re supposed to be dead), then maybe a local craft fair is an option.

There’s no shortage of art and indie craft sales this time of year – and these fairs often feature really great handmade gifts you’ll be proud to give, even if your cousin can’t crush a car with it. And the cost won’t mean you have to skip dinner every night in December.
