WMPG’s 20th annual Fat Tuesday Cajun Cookin’ Challenge brought a taste of Bayou food and music to snow-weary Mainers at the University of Southern Maine Woodbury Campus Center. And the winner is: Bintliff American Cafe (soon to be renamed Bayside American Cafe), serving gumbo with chicken and andouille sausage with mini corn cakes. Contenders included USM Dining, Po’ Boy & Pickles, Bayside Bowl, Bintliff’s American Cafe, Congress Bar & Grill, Gritty’s and Izzy’s Cheesecake.
