Song of the Day: "What the North Pond Hermit Knows"

I can only imagine the songwriting inspiration that has been drawn from all of the North Pond Hermit news of late. I know I  recently rewrote a few lines of Foreigner’s “Jukebox Hero” with the words “North Pond Hermit” in the refrain. It goes a little like this:

“Standing in the rain, with his head hung low, couldn’t go out hunting, that wasn’t how he rolled”

But as for original music, I’ll leave that to the professionals. Whew…

That said, here’s a catchy little ditty all about  The North Pond Hermit.

“What the North Pond Hermit Knows” is by Stan & Dan  (nationally known bluegrass songwriter Stan Keach and mandolin player Dan Simons)

Listen once and then listen again and sing along!
