Last year Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett released one of favorite albums of 2018. “Tell Me How You Really Feel” is stacked with scorching singles like “Nameless, Faceless” and “The City Looks Pretty” and she played several of them during a July 26 show at the State Theatre. Barnett and I chatted all about the album among other topics.

Well friends, it’s raining good news today because not only is Barnett coming back to Portland as the opener for The National on Tuesday, June 20. She’s JUST released two killer live clips with Vevo for a pair of fantastic non-album singles: “Small Talk” and “Everybody Here Hates You.”

Enjoy the clips and I’ll see you at Thompson’s Point on the 20th! P.S. Holy smokes, the new National album “I Am Easy to Find” is magnificent so this promises to be an extraordinary night of live music.
