Wedding season is upon us. Need help getting dressed?

Need a dress (or two…or three…) for upcoming wedding guest festivities? Here’s where to look for some dandy duds in town.

Material Objects
Guys and gals should flock here. I love that MO sells new and old. If you’re open to something vintage vixeny but might also need some simple summer frocks for a shower, this is a great spot to find it all. They’ve also got great sport coats and vintage neckwear for all the fellas out there.

Forget Me Nots
Just a hop, skip and a jump outta town, this Falmouth consignment shop specializes in the high-end. If you’re a lady looking for something classic and you’re willing to splurge on second hand, it’s a great option. Last time I was there they had LOUBOUTINS for under $300. Jeezum crow.

Andrea’s Bridal
Sometimes you really can’t go wrong with finding better wedding appropriate attire than at a wedding boutique. This Congress Street staple is where lots of local brides recommend for excellent service and prices. They carry some great brands like TwoBirds and Jim Hjelm. For a local spot, it can’t be beat.

Antoines Formal Wear
Guys. You don’t have to spend  a ton of money on a suit if you only wear one every five years. You can rent one at Antoines with specials that start around $85. And he’ll tailor it for you so you’ll look right custom, ayuh!

The Rack
I know, it’s not a local shop. But if you just need to get a black cocktail dress or a crisp button down and tie, you gotta check this new Nordstrom affiliate out. Especially if you’re a last minute lady like me and it’s the evening before a wedding and all the local boutiques are closed…heh.
