These Falmouth students made me nostalgic

When I was in high school, Angela Chase was a major style icon for me. The oversized plaid shirts, the sweatshirts wrapped around her waist, the ability to make baggy jeans look amazing. Now over a decade later, I still think it’s the epitome of high school cool. I’m always happy to see that these staples often make a resurgence in the world. I couldn’t help but think of Angela and Jordan Catalano (SWOON) when I met these Falmouth High School seniors. They each had a completely relaxed, laid-back and infectiously lovely personality with clothes to match. Yes they probably would have been warmer with coats on, but they’re in high school! They can handle it!

My So Called Life ramblings aside, this trio of friends were spotted carrying matching bags! They got them at Mexicali Blues and I think they’re the perfect style to go from the seashore as a beach bag to the streets of Portland as an everyday bag. In fact, I have made a mental note to pick one up for myself the next time I’m there. After all, I want to be as cool as these kids.
