Street style in Old San Juan

It’s hot, humidy and sticky in Puerto Rico. It’s the type of weather that makes you want to wear gauzy linen or just your underwear – not much else. I was surprised by how chic and dressed up all the locals of San Juan were everyday. How does one wear pants when it’s 90 degrees out? And not have sweat stains on their bum? I was impressed…

Effortlessly chic in high-waisted linen pants, a white tank and leather wedges.  Meanwhile, I was sweating in shorts and a crop top.

The men in San Juan are snazzy dressers. Lots of dress slacks and hats. And for those really sweaty days, you can see everyone walking around with a cup of helado.

But hey, like anywhere else, there is the occasional faux pas too. Either way, I’m glad to be back on the streets of Maine! What’s the most stylish place  you’ve ever visited?
