A couple with good jeans

I don’t know about all of you, but as the end of January approaches and there’s still a good two months of winter clothes to get through, I start to hit a plateau. I’ve worn every sweater and flannel I own about a hundred times and I’ve worn a hole through my flannel-lined leggings. So why not take a style cue from this Portland couple and bring out some spring essentials? A denim jacket is a great alternative to heavy winter wool (especially with a few key layers to help “winterize” it) and why not break out a summer dress with tights? We might a well get as much wear out of our warm-weather garb as possible. And let it be known that I  love couples that coordinate. This is matching denim done right — this is matching denim done wrong.

What have you been doing to bust out of the winter weather outfit rut?
