Sometimes accessories make all the difference

Sometimes a simple uniform of denim shorts and a tank top just need a little oomph to take it to the next level. This Portland resident who hails from the “other” Portland, is a perfect example of how to slowly, SLOWLY transition summer clothes into cooler weather. I say slowly because I don’t want anyone walking around in sweaters until at least November.

Swapping sandals for short boots and adding a lightweight scarf is a hint that fall isn’t too far away. She scored her cool Japanese sunglasses off Ebay and her great crochet bag isn’t just a summer staple, but something she can carry around once the temperature dips too.
