I have this very realistic fantasy that I will spend all winter sewing my own clothes and come spring, I’ll reenter the world in designs of my own creation. I may even realize that I’m actually a sewing prodigy and that I’ve been avoiding my calling for the past twenty-something years. But I digress. At the very least, I’d like to learn how to sew a skirt.
Thank goodness for Z Fabric, where classes are offered for sewers of all levels, now in their new location on Preble Street. Their next class on December 4 is a Domestic Goddess Apron, which I’m pretty sure is a good excuse to dust off my Singer and churn out some Christmas gifts.
What’s on your winter bucket list? Dare we start a sewing club?
