Maine’s own David Turin is hosting dinner at the James Beard House tonight. Turin is chef and owner of David’s and David’s Opus Ten in Portland, David’s 388 in South Portland, and David’s KPT in Kennebunkport. The evening’s menu includes chicken–magret duck boudin curry with date gastrique, butter-poached lobster with chanterelles, butternut squash, risotto cake and citrus–truffle microgreens, and poached pear with griddled pound cake, sweet ricotta and white pear vincotto.
Since we all can’t be there in person (even though we’d certainly love to be) we can at least watch the action live on the Kitchen Cam. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
