Roughly 5,000 votes have been cast in the first five rounds, and we now have our championship match-up: Epiphany versus Swish.

This is a battle of neighbor versus neighbor. For the past three years Foundation Brewing and Bissell Brothers have resided side by side in One Industrial Way. As Bissell Brothers prepare to leave One Industrial Way for their new Thompson’s Point location, this is a great celebration of the time these two breweries have spent slaking our craft beer desires in the same building complex.

Maine Madness Beer Tournament Results: ROUND ONE and TWO and THREE and FOUR and FIVE.

Epiphany from Foundation has been a juggernaut in this tournament. In each round they have slayed their opponent by hundreds of votes, even taking down the highly acclaimed Curieux in the Final Four.

In Bissell Brothers’ Swish, however, Epiphany will find a formidable opponent. Swish is riding high on the recent acclaim of being named one of the best 101 Beers in America by Men’s Journal.

I have personally stood in line for both of these double IPAs. Simply put, I love both these beers. It’s going to be a tough choice when I cast my vote. Godspeed to you all!

And the winner is… Foundation Brewing!
