Heartwood College of Art of Biddeford is organizing a bird-themed fundraiser for the York County Food Pantry in Alfred from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust, 57 Gravelly Brook Road. The show will feature small, unframed “Birdworks” ranging in size from 6 inches square to 11-by-14 inches, and in price from $125 to $350. Media include watercolor, pastel, acrylic, encaustic and scratchboard.

About 35 artists will be represented, with approximately 100 pieces of work on display. This is the fourth similar event for the college.

A previous project included “100 Birds for Haiti,” which raised money for earthquake relief. Folksinger Monica Grabin of Kennebunk will perform.
