15 short films (many by locals) at L.L.Bean’s free Outdoor Film Festival on Wednesday

If you’re a fan of the outdoors and love the excitement that comes with new adventures, you’ll want to be on hand Wednesday (Nov. 5) at 7 p.m at the Nordica Theater in Freeport for a special viewing of a series of 15 short outdoor movies. Each film runs approximately 4 minutes and films range from the landscapes of Alaska to the backcountry of Maine. Most filmographers are local and, like me, are employees of L.L.Bean, so it’s a great way to support the outdoor passion of those around you here in Maine. Entry is FREE, but donations are requested at the door to benefit The United Way. It’s a win-win—an outdoors escape and a chance to help the local community. To get amped up, see the film listing below.
