Travis James Humphrey rocks Gritty's in Portland tonight

It’s time to power up and power through another Tuesday, babies! There’s a plethora of musical performances to take in this evening, so hike up those Party Pants and get ready to work it on out this evening.

If you find yourself up in the Lewiston area this evening, be sure to check out a fun show down at Fast Breaks on Lisbon Street as the venue presents an edition of Rockabilly Tuesday with Ragged Jack. Starting at 7, the trio of top-notch musicians will power through a bunch of old school rockabilly classics to keep your hips shaking all night long.

Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland is all geared up for another installment of Drop It: Open Decks Night this Tuesday. Beginning at 9 you can stop by and sign up for a spot DJing on some open tables. All you’ll need to participate are some tunes and headphones. Tonight DJ Nocturnal will kick things into gear with an opening set. Tonight’s DIY DJ Party is free, so check it out.

If you’re actually more prone to being your own rockstar rather than a DJ, then make your way down to Slainte Wine Bar & Lounge on Preble Street in P-Town for a night of feel good 90s karaoke. Starting at 9 o’clock, DJ Ponyfarm invites one and all to join the free party and belt ‘em out all night long.

Check out some roots rock for free this tonight over at Gritty’s in the Old Port where Travis James Humphrey will be playing a solo set of tunes. Humphrey will be doing his thing from 9 to midnight tonight.

Tuesdays signal that it’s time, once again, for some tasty jams courtesy of experimental jazz act, Jaw Gems, down at Local 188 on Congress Street in Portland. Grab some friends and chill out to some awesome sounds beginning right around 10 o’clock.
