The Boneheads celebrate 24 years of good tunes & good times at Slates in Hallowell tonight

Don’t let Monday beat you down, instead move onward and upward by having fun at all of these shows going on in and around town this evening.

Pedro O’Hara’s full band open mic continues tonight with host and local musician Michael Krapovicky. Beginning at 6:30, solo acts, duos, poets, comedians and all entertainers in between are welcome to take to the stage and show off their talent during this free and fun event. A local, talented drummer will be on hand as well as a drum kit and a PA, bass amp and guitar amp will also be made available to anyone who signs up. Things get underway at 6:30, so stop in if you’re in the Lewiston area this Monday evening for some true musical revelry.


In Portland, Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street welcomes back Pretty Girls Sing Soprano for an evening of tight, clever and original harmonies. The act will be filling Andy’s will lots of beautiful music beginning at 7pm tonight.


If you’re looking to check out some open mic action in the Southern Maine area tonight be sure to head out to the Kerrymen Pub in Saco where starting at 7:30 both full bands and solo acts are encouraged to take to the stage and showcase their musical abilities at this free and fun open mic event.


Make some moves this Monday to take in some some bluegrass and pizza at Otto’s lower Congress Street location as Portland picker Joe Walsh will be joined by a few of his friends to provide a mighty fine musical soundtrack for your evening. The fun starts during’s this free event right around 8 o ‘clock.


Get ready to celebrate 24 years of rocking and rolling with The Boneheads up at Slates in Hallowell as they commemorate more than two decades of making music together. Known for their famously unpredictable and impressively musical shows that often feature band members switching up instrumental duties, as well as the occasional and uproariously funny versions of their own originals in the style of polka, this is a fun night of tunes not to be missed. Show these fellas some love and salute them for 24 years of good times and good tunes as things get underway right around 8 o’clock tonight.
