Spread some holiday cheer at Empire Dine & Dance, Flask Lounge and more tonight!

It’s here! It’s here! It’s Christmas!!! The most wonderful time of the year is currently happening right now. Hopefully y’all didn’t shoot yer eye out or get your tongue stuck to a frozen pole. I also hope your family didn’t take off across country to celebrate the holidays and left you stranded at home trying to fight off Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.  (Obviously, I’ve been watching some Christmas movies the past couple of days.)

If you’re in dire need of escaping the merriment of the day (bah-humbug!) there are a couple of places open this evening.  Of course, you could always up your MSG in-take and order some Chinese food, but if eating your feelings isn’t enough, there are a couple of places to hang out and grab a cold one tonight.

Popcorn and booze – what could possible be better?  If that sounds right up your alley, head on over to Rosie’s in the Old Port this evening for a healthy dose of both.  I’m thinking about grabbing a couple of vodka sodas over at Empire Dine and Dance where I know Lucas on the bar will be hooking it up with some great tunes, mostly local, courtesy of his iPod. Flask Lounge on Spring Street is also open for business this evening, but I suggest giving a ring before making your way to your favorite watering hole this evening, just to make sure you don’t get left out in the cold this Christmas evening.

Anyway, whatever you choose, I hope it is festive and bright and you have the happiest of hollydays!  Back to your regularly scheduled rage program tomorrow!
