Flatbread Company on Commercial Street in the Old Port welcomes the lovely and talented Monique Barrett to perform some acoustic songs during a dinnertime set this Monday. Starting at 6 you can enjoy some delicious food and terrific live music as Monique sets up shop with her acoustic guitar and plays her original soulful, folk tunes during this all-ages, free event.
Pedro O’Hara’s full band open mic kicks off this Monday evening with host Michael Krapovicky. Starting at 6:30, solo acts, duos, poets, comedians and everything in between are welcome to take to the stage and show off their stuff during this free and fun event. A local, talented drummer as well as a drum kit will be available as well as a PA, bass amp and guitar amp will be available. Sign up begins at 6:30 and tonight’s featured act will be local alt-rock act Zealous Bellus.
Local folk-rock artist Brian Patricks will be playing a handful of original tunes and classic covers at Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street tonight. This free show starts right around 7 so stop on by if you’re in the Old Port this Monday evening.
More open mic action is happening at the Kerrymen Pub in Saco where beginning at 7:30pm both solo artists and full bands are encouraged to take to the stage and show off their musical capabilities at this free and fun event.
Make your way out to Otto’s lower Congress Street location tonight to properly celebrate the fact that you’ve made it through another Monday with some bluegrass and pizza as local musician Joe Walsh joins a few friends for a evening of free fun. Things get jumping at 8pm.
Fun Longfellow returns to One Longfellow Square in Portland this Monday evening with a lineup of some of the funniest people in Portland and beyond. Host Will Green will be joined by comedians John Randall, Karen Morgan, and Mike Johnson. Matt Kona, a regular on the Boston scene, will close out the evening with his many styles of comedy. Tonight’s laugh riot gets rolling right around 9.
