We did it! Not only is it Friday but it’s also the first full day of summer! Remember all of those frigid February nights, as you get ready to bust out your finest Party Jorts and thoroughly Friday this evening! Here we go!

It’s the first evening of summer and what better way to spend it than by jamming out with Band Beyond Description out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company on Commercial Street? If this sounds like your Dead Head dream come true, then mosey on over to the spot right around 6 o’clock.

The inimitable jazz poet and performance artist Lady Zen will be doing her thing at the always-beautiful venue on Munjoy Hill in Portland known as St. Lawrence Arts. Be sure to show her some support and love this evening as things get underway right around 7 tonight.

Portland funk masters Mama’s Boomshack will be performing at a very special event this evening in rememberance of Amy Keen Avery who lost her battle with ovarian cancer. Tonight’s event begins at 7 o’clock at the Dover Elks Lodge in Dover, NH.
