Local Americana gypsy-rock act, Muddy Ruckus will be lighting up the stage of Blue on Congress Street in Portland this thirsty Thursday evening. Get ready to stomp your feet and have some fun as things get underway right around 7pm.
Andy’s Old Port Pub in downtown Portland welcomes back local singer-songwriter Heather Pierson as she plays a set of songs starting around 7 o’clock. Heather is known as a multi-genre performer covering everything from New Orleans jazz to poignant folk narratives, blues and anything in between. It should be a fun night for a free show, so check it out if you’re hanging around downtown this Thursday.
Singer-songwriter Mason Jennings returns to Port City Music Hall in Portland this evening for some good times and good tunes. Seattle indie rocker Sera Cahoone will kick things off with an opening set right around 8.
A night chock full of pop-rock takes over The Asylum in Portland tonight as multi-instrumentalist Teddy Geiger takes the stage alongside Justin Levinson and Portland’s own Dean Ford. Teddy not only gained national attention for his music, but also grabbed the silver screen spotlight by starring opposite Emma Stone in 2008’s The Rocker; dude also co-wrote a One Direction song, so there’s that as well. Tonight’s show gets underway right around 8 o’clock.
If you’re south of Portland head down to The Run of the Mill in Saco where the fellas of Hotel Cocktails, which actually boast members of Dominic and The Lucid, as they play covers of tunes that you know and love as well as some of their own psychedelic rockers starting right around 8 o’clock.

Guitarists, composer and music educator Mike Stockbridge returns to Gingko Blue on Fore Street in Portland tonight with his quartet, who is ready to lay down some terrific Thursday night jams starting right around 8 o’clock.
Steve Jones and friends will be playing some tasty Thursday night tuneage up at The Liberal Cup in Hallowell. Jones blends everything from rockabilly, country, old-time rock and roll and more to create some especially well crafted tunes that’ll be sure to make your ear holes happy.
