Things get wonderfully weird during this week’s installment of Live and Local at One Longfellow Square as they welcome two Portland acts to the stage for a night of Maine made tuneage. Tonight take in the psychedelic, garage rock burners of S.S. Cretins alongside the hip-hop influenced, electro-indie rock jams of AFRAID. Get your freak on as things get underway right around 9 o’clock.
Check out tonight’s open mic specifically tailored for DJs and producers over at Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland. Tonight’s event allows up-and-coming record spinners to take a chance up on the decks alongside DJs Kid Ray and Mechanism. All you need to participate are some records, CDs and a controller.
