From Tron of the Dead at PCMH to KISS Night at Slainte, there's a ton of Halloweening to be done tonight

Bat Boy with all the haps for your Halloween…

All right, you guys, the most mischievous evening of the year is upon us. If you didn’t get a full dose of seasonal mayhem this past weekend then ready yourself for round two as Halloween takes on thirsty Thursday with a monstrous fury! Here are all of the party places to hit up this evening, guys and ghouls!

Blue on Congress Street invites you to usher in All Hallow’s Eve with two sets of music from two pretty stellar Portland acts this evening. Beginning at 7 o’clock you can check out songs from The High Spirits, which feature Dave and Anna Patterson, and East on the Hill, which is Ralph Graceffa and Dan Connor. Throw on a costume and join the fun.

The duo of good ol’ boys known as North of Nashville will be making the trek up to Sugarloaf for a Halloween party at The Rack. Get your toes tappin’ in your spookiest attire as the party starts at 7 o’clock tonight.

Steve Jones and friends will be livening up your evening with some tuneage down at The Run of the Mill on Main Street in Saco. Jones blends everything from rockabilly, country, old-time rock and roll and more to create some especially well crafted tunes that’ll be sure to make your earholes happy. If you’re in the area this evening make sure you swing by, as the show starts right around 8 o’clock.

One Longfellow Square in Portland is geared up for one helluva masquerade party featuring belly dancing, fortune telling, monster mashing, and some New Orleans style spook music courtesy of The Burners. Starting at 8, join The Burners, local belly dancers Adira and Cait, guest band Cirque Desolate, and some other local characters you might know in a night of percussion, dancing, live music and general Halloween-themed merriment and mayhem.

SPACE Gallery in Portland’s annual Halloween party will rage with a tribute show to Black Flag (featuring members of Sylvia, Swaath, and The Rattlesnakes), Guided by Voices (made up of members of Foam Castles, Metal Feathers, Brenda, and Endless Jags), and Ministry (featuring members of Coalsack in Cruz and Restless Shades). Be sure to dress to impress as you enter the darkside this evening. Things get underway right around 8 o’clock.

Pete Witham and the Cozmik Zombies will be serving up their special brand of rocka-psychobilly fun at the Dogfish Bar & Grille on Free Street in Portland this Halloween. Join the fellas for some fun starting at 8:30 as they combine witty lyrics with theatrical delivery for a night full of devilish fun.

Dress to impress at The Liberal Cup’s Halloween Party featuring The Dapper Gents tonight. Starting at 8:30 these gentlemen will be playing some fun pop-rock tunes for you to monster mash to, so swing through and check it out if you’re in the Hallowell area this evening.

Comedian Connor McGrath and Slainte Wine Bar & Lounge on Preble Street in Portland present an evening dedicated to celebrating KISS. ConnMan will join forces with his pals, Kurt Baker, Tom Hall and Will Broadbent to perform the songs of the Demon, Starchild, Spacemen and Catman as well as do an onstage reading of some of the members of KISS’ autobiographies. Basically this is a must for any of you rock n’ rollers that are still ecstatic about KISS’ nomination into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tongues will be wagging starting at 9 o’clock.

Amigos in Portland is going to get loud and super awesome this evening as Clubber Lang and Hessian team up and join forces to pay tribute to the one and only Black Sabbath this All Hallow’s Eve. Things get crankin’ right around 9 o’clock.

Empire on Congress Street in Portland presents Purple Brainz, a tribute to the music of Prince and Madonna featuring Dean Ford and Renee Coolbrith. This Halloween party like it’s 1985. Original Revolution keyboardist, Dr. Fink will even be playing with the Prince band, so be sure to swing through and check it out tonight.

Get frighteningly funky at Easy Street Lounge in Hallowell this evening as The Kenya Hall Band celebrates All Hallow’s Eve with some straight up funk and soul for your funk and soul hole. The party starts at 9, so if you’re in the area, be sure to dress to impress this Halloween and check it out.

Electro-rock act The Other Bones are teaming up with DJ Jon for a non-stop Halloween dance party at Port City Music Hall on Congress Street tonight. Beginning at 9 check out live tunes from the aptly name Other Bones as well as all of your favorite jams spun by DJ Jon. There’ll be a photo booth set up featuring photographer Tom Couture and a costume contest that could land you pair of tickets to every Port City show for the rest of the year! The fun starts at 9 o’clock.

Maybe you’re in the mood for a little hip-hop this Halloween. If that’s the case then head on down to Mathew’s on Free Street in Portland where you can catch Trump Tight, Deacon, Cam Darby, Fatal J, and Hya Rezz doing their thing starting at 9.

Kilcollins will be pop rockin’ the night away over at RiRa on Commercial Street. Starting at 9 o’clock the fellas will get your Thursday crankin’ with all sorts of tunes that you know in love with a handful of catchy original jams for good measure. It’s free, fun and I would say guaranteed to be a good time, so check it out if you’re downtown this evening.

Hello Newman is ready once again to pump out the jams with a free Halloween Bash upstairs at Bull Feeney’s in the Old Port. Starting at 9:30, the fellas will be rockin’ all of your favorite 90s tunes. There’s never a cover, so check it out if you’re feeling a little nostalgic this evening.

DJ Scroll will be spinning some tunes for you to monster mash to tonight at Sonny’s. Swing through, grab a drink and get your Thriller on starting at 10.
