eyenine celebrates the release of Dissembler with a proper party at The Big Easy tonight

All right, here we go! If we can hurdle this hump we can do anything at all! We’ve totally got this, this Wednesday evening. What better way to keep things rollin’ on then by checking out some live, local tuneage? There’s a plethora of parties to choose from so get out there and do your thing this Wednesday evening!

I’m thinking tonight might be a little bit better for some outdoor musical musings, so if you’re looking to enjoy a cold one out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company on Commercial Street, tonight is just the night to do so as they welcome Eric Bettencourt and a couple of his pals to the stage. Starting at 6, you can check out Betts as he teams up with Seth Kearns and Adam Frederick for some good tunes and good times out on the deck for free.

Another stellar way to work out your Wednesday will be taking place out on the El Rayo patio in Portland where classic Cuban music makers Primo Cubano get ready to play their weekly gig outside in the sunshine starting right around 7 o’clock.

The truly talented folk-country siren known as Shanna Underwood will be performing a set of tunes down at Local Sprouts on Congress Street in Portland tonight. If you’re kicking around town, then be sure to stop by and enjoy some songs starting at 7 o’clock.

Wednesday night means open mic action down to Slainte Wine Bar & Lounge on Preble Street in Portland where you can check out local musicians as they do their thing, or you can even sign up to play some tunes of your own! Each and every Wednesday beginning at 8, local singer-songwriter Dustin Saucier hosts this free and fun event which encourages all types of talent to step up to the mic and perform a song or two.

Over at Bull Feeney’s in the Old Port you can check out the Squid Jiggers who are back once again with some quality folk music for your earholes, which is perfectly paired with an ice cold beer this evening. The duo will be getting things going starting right around 8, so swing through and check ‘em out if you’re hanging around downtown tonight.

Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland keeps things fresh tonight with an event, which seemingly has a little bit of something for everyone. With everything from rock, pop, jazz, folk, and more Food – The Band and Narrow Escape are ready to broaden your musical horizons with a show that’s certain to entertain. The party starts at 9 tonight, so swing through and check it out.

Tonight Rap Night celebrates the release of eyenine’s newest record Dissembler with a party that’ll most likely put all other mid-week parties to shame. eyenine has been killin’ it over the last year or so and is certain to put on one helluva show tonight in honor of his latest record. Show the dude some love and check out tonight’s show down at The Big Easy, which gets bumpin’ right around 9 o’clock.

Another fun one to check out tonight is over at Oasis in the Old Port where local pop-rockers Kilcollins will be providing the soundtrack for your Hump Day eve. With everything from catchy originals to classic party jams that every one knows and loves, you shan’t be disappointed as the boys begin playing around 9 tonight.

If you find yourself in the Naples region this evening, be sure to make your way down to Bray’s Brew Pub for some fantastic live music. Tonight they welcome local act the Delta Knights to their outdoor stage for some R&B, blues, soul, funk, swing, rock, jazz and more starting right around 9.
