David Berkeley returns to One Longfellow Square with special guest Max Garcia Conover

It’s time to tackle another Tuesday, y’all! There’s a ton of cool stuff happening, so hike up your Party Pants and get ready to throw down this evening!

Local singer-songwriter Brian Patricks will be providing the soundtrack to your Tuesday evening as he plays a free show starting at 6:30 up at Andy’s Old Port Pub in downtown Portland. Brian will be covering all the hits from yesterday and today as well as sneaking in some catchy originals for y’all.

Another edition of Open Rounds will be happening down at Blue on Congress Street in Portland this evening. Starting at 7:30 musicians can sign up to be a part of a 3 person round and pick a song to perform with the other two musicians featured in the round. These rounds are open to any one who enters, so if you’re looking to play some tunes with some other folks you should sign up and check it out. The evening will close with a featured set of songs courtesy of acoustic artist Martin Swinger right around 8:30 or so. This event is free, fun and a great way to network with other talented artists, so swing through and check it out.

San Francisco indie folk-rock artist, David Berkeley returns to One Longfellow Square in Portland for a night of music that’ll get underway right around 8 o’clock. Local folk artist Max Garcia Conover with get things started tonight with a set of acoustic tunes.

You can also choose to be your own dang rock star this evening over at Slainte Wine Bar & Lounge on Preble Street in Portland as DJ Ponyfarm presents another Tuesday of free karaoke. Show off your powerful pipes by singing some of your favorite 90s jams starting right around 9 o’clock.

Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland welcomes DJs of all genres and experience to try out their open mic for DJs as the venue hosts yet another dance party, which allows up and coming record spinners to take a chance and get up on the tables during the event. All you need to bring are your records, CDs and controller. Tonight’s DJ open mic begins right around 9 o’clock, so check it out.

Things are going to get exceptionally loud tonight down at Geno’s Rock Club on Congress Street in Portland as a handful of hardcore acts come together to tear your Tuesday apart. Starting at 9, check out the sounds of Resolute, Bare Your Teeth, Firstborn, Hard Time, and Pink Sock.

The fellas of Jaw Gems are ready to jazz up your Tuesday evening with a free set of tunes down at Local 188 on Congress Street in Portland. Beginning at 10, this group of talented cats will be laying it down for you to enjoy all night long.
