Cover to Cover returns to The Big Easy tonight with a Cure For Pain

We made it through Monday and are well on our way this week! It’s time to shine, so shimmy on up to another Tuesday night. Here we go, my babies!

Low rock it out tonight as Cover to Cover returns from a three week hiatus over at The Big Easy in Portland with one helluva show to get down to this Tuesday. Portland’s own Moonhawk is geared up to step into the shoes of 90s alt-rock act, Morphine to cover to band’s classic 1993 album Cure For Pain in its entirety. Things start off right around 9 with a set of original opening tunes from Moonhawk followed by Cure For Pain from front to back.

Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland ready to party tonight with another edition of Drop It: Open Decks Night. Starting right around 9 o’clock you can sign up for a spot DJing on some open tables. All you’ll need to spin at this party are some tunes and headphones. Tonight’s event, as always, is absolutely free, so drop on by and check it out.

There’ll be some tasty roots rock morsels for your ears tonight over at Gritty’s in the Old Port where Travis James Humphrey will be playing a solo set of tunes. Humphrey will be doing his thing from 9 to midnight tonight. This show is also free, so no excuses!

It’s time once again for some tasty jams courtesy of Portland’s own experimental jazz cats Jaw Gems down at Local 188 on Congress Street in Portland. Grab some friends and chill out to some sweet sounds beginning right around 10pm.
