Check out The Still at Portland Lobster Company tonight

I must say, I’m feeling pretty good about this Tuesday evening as things are shaping up with tons of great tunes all around town and beyond. If you’re ready to get weird and wild tonight, here’s some stuff to check out!

The Still, which features local musician Ryan Halliburton and a few of his talented friends, will be playing live out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company in downtown Portland this Tuesday evening. Starting at 6 enjoy some great music out on the deck overlooking the beautiful Atlantic. Tonight’s show is absolutely free, so don’t miss out on some summer fun.

Local act Fighting Fiction will be back at it down at The Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach as they perform a variety of music from all kinds of genres including modern pop, rock, alternative, country, classic rock and more starting at 7 o’clock.

Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street in downtown Portland will be hosting Illinois folk Americana act Rebecca Rego & The Trainmen this Tuesday. Take in some toe-tapping tunes as tonight’s free show gets underway right around 7.

Local singer-songwriter Brian Patricks will be joining forces with bassist Damon Holman to bring their acoustic rock and blues duo, Cayden’s Call, to life up at Fast Breaks in Lewiston this Tuesday. Check out these fellas as they get things going at tonight’s free show starting at 7 o’clock.

Make some moves down to The Thirsty Pig in the Old Port this evening for another installment of their weekly open mic known as The Exchange. Tonight’s gathering is for all musicians looking to collaborate, showcase, and workshop their own original music in front of an audience of peers and friends. All ages, genres and musical abilities are welcome to join in the creative fun, so be sure to stop by and check things out as this free event gets going right around 8.

Another open mic night specifically designed for DJs happens down at Flask Lounge on Spring Street in Portland this Tuesday. The event allows up-and-coming DJs and producers to take a chance and get up on the tables alongside local veterans. All you need to bring are records, CDs and a controller. All formats of music are welcome as the fun gets started at 9.

A super rad basement show will be rattling the foundation of 242 St. John Street in Portland tonight as thing gets loud and awesome with local acts Sylvia and Eastern Spell as they team up with Philly’s Sadgiqacea and Hivelords for a night of heavy hitting doom rock. Bust out the earplugs and get ready for some skull crushing thunder starting right around 8 o’clock.

Celebrate summer up in Boothbay Harbor this evening as this maritime community presents their Annual Windjammers Festival with a little bit of something for evening including a performance from Americana folk-rockers Gunther Brown. The fellas will be live at McSeagulls both tonight and tomorrow beginning at 9 o’clock.
