Check out Joe Walsh & friends at Otto in Portland tonight

We weathered the storm and have made it to another Monday! If you’re looking to get out of the house and check out some tuneage this evening, here are some spots to hit!

Tonight Michael Krapovicky, of local rock act The Grumps, hosts another free open mic night up at Pedro O’Hara’s in Lewiston. Grab an instrument and get ready to play some songs and have some fun starting right around 6:30 this Monday evening.

Monday means that MJ’s Wine Bar located at One City Center in downtown Portland will be hosting a trio of jazz musicians at a free show tonight. These fellas are open to having anyone sit in and jam with them, so keep that in mind if you’re into making music this morning.  Check out the house band consisting of Jacob Cooley, Tony Palumbo and Kyle Friday right around 7 o’clock.

Buck up this Monday evening with some bluegrass and pizza down at Otto on Congress Street. Tonight local picker Joe Walsh and friends will be providing a mighty fine soundtrack to your evening starting right around 8 o’clock.

If you’ve got a hankering for even more free, fun stuff to check out this Monday, then head out to the open mic night that’s happening over at RiRa on Commercial Street in Portland. Every Monday starting right around 8 Evan Walsh hosts his own version of an adult talent show in the form of a free open mic night. EvGuy even has instruments available for people to play, and even if you can’t actually play said instruments, he’ll help you out by jamming out a decent version of a song for you to sing!
