Where’s Carey? And why did his blog stop?
Up Next: Get lost in the stalks: Corn Mazes in Maine
“Living large in the 100-Mile Wilderness! On the 3644-foot summit of Whitecap this morning enjoying crystal clear views of Katahdin. 73 miles to go…” Carey Kish photo
First things first: Carey is fine, wonderful, stupendous! He’s still happily on trail and expected to reach Katahdin soon (hurrah!). And while he was impressively able to hike, write and regularly update his blog for the first part of the hike, he’s found it harder to keep up lately.
Here’s what he said: “Hey, sorry about not keeping up with the blog. I’m writing it still. But posting was using up too much time and energy. Will back fill when I get home.”
So he’s focused on finishing up his second successful AT hike and is writing along the way, but he’ll be posting those entries once he’s back home (and after he’s cracked open his first celebratory beer, of course!)
Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
