This is going to be the weekend for shopping in Portland. I can feel it in my bones. With Picnic kicking off (arguably the best summer market around) as well as being a historically great weekend for tag sales (so says my diary), there’s also a killer vintage clothing trunk show happening on the east end. (Cue the “eeeeeeeps!”)
Cora runs the etsy shop Abell & Fiola. We’re old friends and the shop actually is the last names of both our very stylish maternal grandmothers. She also has the most insane collection of vintage clothing you could ever imagine. And trust me. Mama’s seen her share of vintage collections.
Every corner of her apartment is filled with bins. Bins of sweaters. Bins of rompers. Bins of dresses. Bins of belts. I don’t even pack a suitcase if I plan on sleeping over. I end up just leaving the house in a plunging sequin jumpsuit (she has one) or a dress with zebras on it (she has one of those, too).
Cora is throwing her very first trunk show this weekend on Kellogg Street on the hill! You must stop by. Grab an iced coffee at Hilltop, walk down and do some shopping at Cora’s, head to Picnic and then treat yourself with a beer at Novare. See? I planned your whole day for you. I’m all about service here at Fore Front Fashion!
I’ll see you on the streets!
