Let's not forget what the holidays are really about

Of course we love to talk about gift guides and supporting local businesses, but the holidays are really all about the things you can’t buy.

Street style! These two friends were clearly photographed right before the big snow hit us. It’s amazing how quickly we forget what it’s like to walk around town without slush. This day was particularly cold and I couldn’t believe this lady was wearing ankle booties sans socks! But she let me in on a secret. She was wearing ped socks so her feet could stay relatively warm, but she could still bare her ankles. There’s that yankee ingenuity I love!
