Is it tacky to buy a "reception" dress?

I will preface this post by saying that I plan on only getting married once. Keep that in mind as you ponder if I should have two dresses for my wedding day.

Here’s the thing. I got my wedding dress! (More on that story later.) I love it! It came in under budget! It’s perfect! I had that “feeling” you all told me I would have. But now that it’s over…I can’t seem to stop looking for dresses. It’s not that I’m looking for a different one…it’s that I kinda want to wear two.

Though I don’t plan on changing out of my wedding dress, I did have the idea to change into more of a “party dress” later in the night. Not right after the ceremony or before the first dance or cake cutting – but late night when all I want to do is dance with my friends. What do you think about this? Is it just a dumb trend or could it be really fun?

Some ideas would be to wear a short vintage dress or a sequined party dress or perhaps a romper!

What do you think? Silly idea? Brilliant? Please help!
