3 local shops for last-minute, easy Halloween costumes

Don’t want to put any time or effort into finding a Halloween costume this year? Well, I am about to reward your laziness. You’re welcome.

Earthbound Trading Company

The wall of masks is truly inspired. If you’re not much of a costume person, pick from their huge assortment to whip up an easy costume.

I know this one sounds like a given, but when I think of how awesome Goodwill is in terms of costumes, I’m talking wigs. They’ve got the exact same styles as that giant big box Halloween store that rolls into town each year, but for half the price. I picked up a long blonde wig for a mere $6. At that price, I might stock up!

Encore Vintage

Every time I visit Encore I remind myself to buy something for Halloween. And yet here we are again, almost two weeks away, and I still don’t own a 70’s polyester jumpsuit or beaded dress from the 40’s. Head here if you want an iconic outfit from any era.
