Conversations about the environment don’t have to happen over a glass of Peak Organic or Maine Mead. But it sure is nice when they do.
Greendrinks makes it easy for the green-minded to get together to network, socialize, drink local, and chat about sustainability. Each month, the event highlights local nonprofits, organizations, and businesses doing environmentally friendly work. And hopefully, over glasses of Allagash and between poses in the emilie inc. photobooth, locals can get acquainted, share ideas, and work toward a greener future. And it’s a stellar way to learn about who’s doing cool work around town – this month, learn about ways to be an eco-friendly concert/festival goer.
This month’s Greendrinks runs from 5:30-8 pm at State Theatre, Portland. It’s $2 to get in if you bring your own drinking vessel, $5 if you don’t.

Join us at the majestic State Theater to support Portland Music Foundation. Among the amazing creative gifts and large local selection of brews (more on both later) you’ll learn yourself the top 10 ways to be an eco-friendly concert/festival goer. For December, we have the always awesome Allagash, Sebago, and Peak Organic on tap, as well as Maine Mead Works, Rising Tide, Gritty McDuff’s, Baxter Brewing, Green Bee Soda, and Urban Farm Fermentory (right???) Gelato Fiasco will scoop the yum and emilie inc will also be there with their ridiculously rad photobooth. Plus a Holiday Bazaar featuring Sweet Marguerites, Portland Flea For All, Dobra Tea, The Sunrise Guide, The Honey Exchange, and Rogue Industries.
