“It starts snowing in November and we don’t see the ground again until May.” An old roommate once described a Maine winter that way. And while it may historically be true, the winters of recent memory – and, like, right now – don’t seem keen on abiding by the six-months-of-snow-covered-ground rule. It’s been warm-ish in Maine’s southern parts. The snow has melted. And the snowshoeing? Not great at the moment, unless you head farther west or north. It seems appropriate to preface today’s post with a WOWEEE! Perhaps I sound like a broken record or maybe even a remix of a Rebecca Black song, but there is so much freakin’ cool stuff going on musically tonight that it’s even a bit overwhelming for a gal about town such as myself, but do not fear. I have taken the time to put everything into working order for you so that you can properly decide where and when you’ll bust out some epic Party Pants dance moves this evening. Bull Moose will open its eleventh retail store on Saturday, November 17 in the Mill Creek area of South Portland. Plans for a weekend of events are in the works, starting Saturday with a 3pm performance by Pete Witham & The Cozmik Zombies and Dark Follies.
