If you’re like me, then you appreciate a night of arm wrestling. And you also appreciate good spanakopita, small dogs in costumes, and strangers who touch the bumps on your head. This weekend was made for folks like us. Lewiston/Auburn’s Greek Festival runs all weekend, so feel free to make return trips. In between, check out some lady arm wrestling, help Sebago pick hops (in exchange for a beer and lunch), race your dachshunds at Wienerfest, and let the phrenologist assess your noggin during the Victorian Fair at Victoria Mansion.
Before we run off into the weekend to eat, drink, ride on buses, and throw water balloons, let’s remember it’s Father’s Day. So, you know, maybe bring Dad on the bus. Or take him on a Sunday paddle. Or a wine dinner. There’s plenty for him and you this weekend.
Sebago Brewing Company has announced the 4th annual Brewing For A Cause, slated for April 20. Limited to only 20 guest brewers will be invited into the brewery to work alongside Sebago brewers Jon and Kevin. Attendees will participate in the brewing process, sample beers, swap recipes, and take home a case of bombers.
