A new year’s experiment: shopping from my own closet

I’m sick and tired of buying clothes. That might sound like an overstatement, but I believe in the one-for-one rule. If I buy something, I need to toss something. It’s the only way to have a manageable closet filled with things you love. Last night I decided to take an inventory of my closet and map out a week’s worth of outfits, challenging myself to wear things that I haven’t worn in awhile. Here’s what happened.

Dress for Success Maine Closing Its Doors

Dress for Success Maine, a wonderful organization that has been providing women in need with outfits for job interviews and growth, are officially closing their doors on November 16th. It is unfortunate that such an important mission will be coming to a close.
