The temperature has gotten notably cooler lately. Thankfully, the events happening this weekend are a perfect blend of winter preparation and cold-weather management. If you're ready to embrace winter and all its snow (or you maybe need a little encouragement), check out Warren Miller's "Ticket to Ride" and get excited about playing in the white stuff. If you need tools to fend off the cold, look to the Chili and Chowder Challenge or learn to make mead (mead is also good at giving you that wonderful warm feeling inside).
