It takes more than masks and beads to pull off a Mardi Gras party, and the Portland Club had it all. Music from the Cajun Aces. Hurricanes. A crazy range of attire, from ball gowns to pig snouts. Louisiana-style food including cajun dips, po’boy appetizers, king cake, and chicory coffee. And, last but not least, the City’s Mayor dressed as Rex, King of Mardi Gras, proclaiming that all ought to have a good time. Let the good times roll!
