Get a lift online: Sunday River online lift ticket savings

Sunday River Resort Launches New Online Lift Ticket Savings Program
Adult one-day lift tickets available from $55

Newry, ME (November 13, 2012)—Sunday River Resort launched a new online program today, selling single- and multi-day lift tickets for the 2012-13 winter season with savings up to 35 percent below this year’s window rates available at the resort.

This new online storefront rewards skiers and snowboarders who pre-purchase their lift tickets at least 24 hours in advance. The sooner a guest purchases their lift ticket for any day of the winter season, the more they’ll save.

Total savings are based on a tiered pricing structure with a set quantity of lift tickets per tier. As tiers sell out each day, online lift ticket prices increase. Percentage savings per tier range between 35 percent and 10 percent off of window rates.

For example, adult one-day lift tickets for the majority of the season start at $55—$30 less than the current $85 window rate.

“The greatest savings will go to the skiers and riders who plan their trips the furthest in advance,” Nick Lambert, Sunday River’s VP of Sales and Marketing, says. “But even those who decide to go skiing days prior will still benefit from savings if they purchase their tickets online.”

Guests who pre-purchase online can pick up their lift tickets at any resort lift ticket window.

For guests who walk up to Sunday River’s lift ticket windows without pre-purchasing in advance, prices will be $85 for adults (ages 19 and older), $69 for teens (ages 13-18), and $56 for juniors and seniors (ages 6-12 and older than 65 years, respectively). Multi-day rates are also available to purchase online.
