Attention shoppers: 12 mini-shops under one roof at Handmade on Maine

Handmade on Main Calls Early Holiday Shoppers

Biddeford, Maine, November 2, 2012 ‐ Engine, a community arts organization, announces an early Holiday shopping kick off with its initiative called Handmade on Main, which will consist of 12 mini-shops under one roof offering custom furniture, woolens, greeting cards, jewelry, T-shirts, and fine art.

This year Engine’s Handmade on Main retail corner will expand into the entire 2000 square feet of 265 Main Street in Biddeford for the months of November and December. A Grand Opening will be held on Friday, November 16, from 4-7 pm. The store will be open to the public starting November 7.

“We fully support the crafters and artists working in Maine and are pleased to be able to introduce their handmade work to the Holiday shoppers,” says Tammy Ackerman, executive Director and Co-Founder of Engine.

Handmade on Main retail venue will be open from November 7 to December 29.

Hours:

November 7 – December 25: 10am to 7pm;

December 26-29: 10am to 3pm.
