BIDDEFORD – Engine, a community arts organization, brings Anti-Freeze!, an annual downtown holiday arts and craft fair to Biddeford on Friday, November 30, 3p.m -8p.m., at the former Courier offices, 180 Main Street in Biddeford.
More that 30 artisans will sell their handmade work and there is more room for sign ups. Anti-Freeze! coincides with Biddeford’s ArtWalk and Heart of Biddeford’s Downtown Holiday Festival with live music, sleigh rides, Santa’s visit, and a tree lighting ceremony.
“Engine’s goal is the revitalization of Main Street via the arts. The combination of an arts and crafts fair and a downtown holiday festival will bring more people into the downtown. We support the local arts community by encouraging people to shop local and buy handmade arts and crafts this season,” says Tammy Ackerman, executive director and co-founder of Engine.
Founded in 2010, Engine, the only arts-driven nonprofit organization in Biddeford, is committed to designing, launching, and promoting community-based arts programming. Engine aspires to be a driver of artistic expression, creative industry, cultural vitality, community connections, and socially responsible practices
