MAMM SLAM 2014: Registration open for high school battle of the bands
Bands AND Solo Performers invited to compete in this high school battle of the bands
The Maine Academy of Modern Music and Portland Music Foundation announce the opening of registration for the 2014 MAMM SLAM – Maine’s hottest high school battle of the bands. For the first time ever, solo performers (singer/songwriters and DJ’s) can also compete in showcasing their songwriting, performance skills, web presence, marketing, signature appearance and other aspects of being a professional touring and recording musician. It’s time to ROCK.
Winners have a crack at $1,000, sponsored by the Rusty Rocket Foundation, along with coveted recording time, TV appearances, radio play, plum gigs and professional marketing direction.
