Tonight! A runway show that benefits Preble Street and Florence House

Come celebrate the artistry of some of the best talent in Maine at a fashion show tonight at Purpoodock Club in Cape Elizabeth.  The show starts at 6pm and it promises to be a perfect way to kick off holiday shopping with festive food, libations, and a live auction.

The event was organized by Ann Veronica, in part to remember a part-time employee Mary Staszko, who passed away last winter and was actively involved in the soup kitchen at Preble Street. All proceeds that are raised tonight will be donated to Preble Street and Florence House.

Florence House provides permanent, supported housing to chronically homeless women in Portland, Maine. It’s also home to the Women’s Shelter which provides immediate, short-term housing for homeless women, supported by a skilled staff, and an opportunity to create a feeling of safety and a strong sense of community.

The event will also have a live auction, a wall of accessories and a runway show featuring the latest and greatest for men’s and women’s fashion. For tickets or more information, please visit their site.
