Happy Hour drink specials abound in Portland. However, if your preferred way to wind down after work is with a glass of prosecco or pinot noir, several restaurants in the city have great deals just for you.
At Blue Spoon on Munjoy Hill, “Wine Time” is from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with a glass each of red and white offered at the bargain-basement price of $2.50. At East Ender on Middle Street, every bottle on the list is half price on Wednesdays, while downtown at MJ’s, the new wine bar at One City Center (very conveniently, right downstairs from our newsroom), a selection of reds, whites and sparkling wines is $5 glass on weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m.
Use this handy map as your budget friendly, wine-drinkers guide to Portland. And do let us know in the comments if there are places that should be added.
