The Round of 32 did not disappoint! We had many close matchups this round.

In the closest margin of victory in the history of this three year tournament Maine Beer Company’s Mo edged The Substance from Bissell Brothers by one vote when the votes were counted at 8 p.m. Yup. One. Friggin. Vote.

Maine Madness Beer Tournament Results: ROUND ONE and ROUND TWO

In the Sweet 16, we have a Goliath versus Goliath meeting of Allagash Curieux and Maine Beer Company’s Lunch. My head might explode when I have to choose between these two beloved beers.

It’s also worth noting that Maine Beer Company boasts 4 of the final 16 beers and the champion from the last two years, Rising Tide Brewing, still has two beers in the hunt.

Unfortunately, we had instances of ballot stuffing this round. When this happens, we manually delete unscrupulous votes. Let’s keep the technological tomfoolery to a minimum. One vote per device, per day. We want to run a clean election here.

The choices keep getting tougher and tougher as we work our way towards crowning a 2016 Maine Madness Champion.

Good luck in making your choices. And remember to get out there and try some of the beers on this list.

Cheers!
