Brightly lit, with lots of greens and golds, kind of like a jungle at midday, with outrageous food and smooth libations tailored to your froggy tastes. Bloodies with a killer price point (5.50) is just the start. Tumble on into a Iimmy Benedict (bacon, caramelized onions, scallions and brie, 9.75) and close ‘er down with the house-made donuts. There’s plentiful seating on the deck outside, complete with a little creek that gurgles after rainstorms. A nice place to sit on an August night. Fully competent and imaginative brewery. Beware the abv! The brews go down so sweetly that it’s easy to miss the sting. The staff is well dressed, in high spirits.

The night life is hopping at Riverside with a dance floor and DJ on the weekends, complete with disco ball and light show. It’s one of those rare places that is able to do both a daytime and an evening scene well.
