Early morning Old Port photography

Before the city turns on in the morning, it’s nice to sometimes watch the sun rise over the waterfront and shine down on the cobblestone side streets and old fishing docks. It’s at this exact time that Portland is the quietest. Hours ago, the bars were full and the streets loud, but this morning, you’ll hear nothing but birds chirping and the flash of the camera. Not all of us are “morning people.” I know I’m not, but sometimes it’s worth it – for just one day.
