Discount skiing: Maine Day

With most mountains claiming up to three feet of snow in the last 2 weeks with more coming – the time is now.

They say that spring brings those warm “bluebird” ski days, ranking with the best days of the year. The comfort of wearing a light, unzipped jacket as you carve down the mountain is something to look forward to as the winter dies off. Well, those days aren’t upon us just yet in the mountains. Atop Saddleback Mountain this Sunday, it still looked like the arctic. Above the black diamond trails, the sting of frozen, blowing snow slapping against your face and the powerful wind gusts trying to pass through your jacket make for the feeling that spring could be farther away.  It may technically be spring, but the snow keeps falling and we keep skiing.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:

Discount skiing on Maine Day – April 06th – at the following mountains:

Sugarloaf – $39

Saddleback – $29

Liftopia – discounted lift tickets to nearby mountains
