PORTLAND, Maine – Maine Restaurant Week (MRW), scheduled March 1-10, 2013, is gearing up for its fifth year anniversary by launching a FREE mobile app and a month-long contest for fans. Diners can get into the spirit by downloading the new app, entering November’s ‘To Dine For’ contest to win special prizes, or encouraging their favorite restaurant to join the ten day celebration. Here’s a preview of the top five reasons to get into the spirit of Maine Restaurant Week 2013:
Maine Restaurant Week Goes Mobile. New for 2013, MRW is unveiling a FREE mobile app that features the latest restaurants, their information and an interactive map with nearby dining suggestions. The MRW App is available for iPhone users to download on iTunes. An Android APP is in the works. Participating restaurant menus will be added closer to the event. Enter the ‘To Dine For’ Contest. This November, MRW fans are invited get in on the action by ‘dining out’ and ‘checking in’ at their favorite MRW restaurants. To enter, visit any participating restaurant during the month of November and ‘check in’ using the new MRW app or Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or email.
