Celebrate Coffee Month with a series of tastings at Coffee By Design
It’s not like I need any more excuses to drink WAY more coffee than is probably considered safe, but if it’s for science, I’ll take one for the team. The folks at Coffee By Design are offering several coffee tastings throughout the month of February at their India Street and Washington Avenue locations in Portland and at their spot in Freeport right inside L.L.Bean.
Each week has a different theme, intended to expand your understanding and appreciation for the entire coffee experience, from choosing the right beans to attaining the perfect roast or brew.
- February 1-7 – It’s All About a Better Bean
- February 8-14– Roasting to Perfection

Each Friday, the India Street and Freeport location tastings will go from noon-2:00pm. Washington Avenue’s will run from noon-3:00pm and Congress Street’s tasting hours are from 5:00-7:00pp.
